Q: How does matching work?
A: Once your profile is verified, you see a small set of compatible profiles each day. The person you express interest in can see it and respond. Mutual interest creates a proposed match, which both of you must accept before screening and staff confirmation.
Q: What screening do surrogates undergo?
A: Every surrogate completes a detailed application covering medical and pregnancy history and lifestyle, uploads identity and medical documents that our staff review by hand, and consents to a background check and psychological evaluation, which run once a match is accepted.
Q: How much does it cost for intended parents?
A: Two numbers, published on our pricing page: a $99 per month membership and a $9,500 success fee. The fee process begins after both parties accept; the required deposit is recorded before staff confirm the match, unless the fee is waived. Surrogate compensation and expenses are set out in your surrogacy agreement and never pass through us. Surrogates never pay SurroGet.
Q: What legal support is provided?
A: Surrogacy agreements are drawn up by independent attorneys, and each party has their own. SurroGet is a matching platform, not a law firm: we tell you what the process involves and when you will need counsel, but we do not provide legal representation.
Q: Can I choose my surrogate's location?
A: Yes, you can set location preferences, and matching takes them into account. Many intended parents prefer surrogates in their state or region, but you decide what matters most.
Q: What if something goes wrong?
